FREE Books for Your Kindle

by Clesha on March 2, 2012

Good morning!

I’m always on the hunt for free books I can read on my Kindle.  It’s a great way to build my eLibrary and discover new authors.  Here are a couple sites for free Kindle books.

If you don’t have the Kindle device, you can still download the app onto any Android phone, PC or MAC device.  Don’t want to download an app?  Amazon also has a cloud reader allowing you to read the books from any browser, so no need to download anything.

If you know of another great site for Kindle Books let me in the comments below.  Happy reading!

Journey to Israel

by Clesha on February 25, 2012

Shalom!  This past January I had the opportunity to travel to Israel with a small group of few seminarians.  It was actually for a class, The Holy Land Tour, led by our Old Testament professor Dr. Itapson.  The journey was awesome, inspiring, exhausting, exhilarating, and all those other adjectives you use when you try to describe an experience that is just beyond words.  I am late getting this post up because there was just so much I experienced that I didn’t know where to start.  So, I decided to tell of this journey in a different way.  I’m going to let the images speak for me.

Over the next week I will take you day by day on my travels through Israel.  There will be a blurb here and there, but I will let the photos tell the story.  Some classmates were kind enough to their images so I will have thousands of photos to choose from to make this journey interesting.

I’ll meet you in the Holy Land!

Some Like It Hot, Some Like It Raw

Its day two of the Lent Season and this year I’ve decided to give up sweets and snacks, to fast and pray, and get my health and diet back on track.  To make this achievable, I’m going to take three approaches: making my own snacks and desserts, participating in the Daniel Fast and giving the [...]
